Aniek Linssen started working as an advisor at the Netherlands Scientific Climate Council (WKR) in May 2023. At the WKR she has worked on advisory reports about industry and carbon dioxide removal, and liaises on international affairs. She has a
background in economics, holding a Master’s degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Before she joined the WKR, she worked as a Senior Policy Officer in the General Economic Policy unit at the Dutch Ministry of
Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, and as a consultant economist in the private sector. As a senior advisor at the Ministry, she advised on topics such as circular economy, supply chain emissions and innovation.
