Arnau Queralt-Bassa is director of the Advisory Council for the Sustainable Development of Catalonia (CADS) since October 2011. Since 2017, he serves as secretary of the Inter-ministerial Commission for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Catalonia and, from 2020, he is member of the Sectorial Commission for the 2030 Agenda in Spain on behalf of the Government of Catalonia. Arnau has served as Chairman of the European network of the EEAC Network since January 2015, and is the current co-chair of the EEAC Network WG on Sustainable Development. On behalf of the EEAC, he has been observer to the European Commission High Level Multi-Stakeholder Platform on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the EU and member of the Group of Experts on Sustainable Development Goals and Higher Education of the Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi). Arnau holds a B.A in Environmental Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Master in Public Management from ESADE, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Pompeu Fabra University. He holds a Diploma in European Studies from the Diplomatic School of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
